This horse rug is lined with a strong, breathable nylon that reduces any friction as well as polishing the coat instead of rubbing. It is also easier to wash and more durable, as well as more hygienic as opposed to other linings such as cotton or nylon and is less likely to rub your horse.

The  HARLEQUIN horse rug has a neck cover built into the rug that affords maximum protection from the elements for your horse, while remaining safe and secure. Strong stitching secures the neck cover to the rug, while two strips of wide double back velcro secure the cover under the horse’s neck, which in turn are secured by a cover flap, making it easy to fit and remove. The absence of material covering the face means that there is no fear of the hood slipping over the horse’s eyes, yet it covers that important part of the horse where a lot of the heat is lost – the neck.
