There are many reasons why this rug is one of Shires equestrian's best selling rugs - its strong 1200 denier ripstop 'Shiretex' outer and 350gm duvet filling with nylon lining mean that your horse or pony will stay snug and dry in all but the most extreme conditions. For those who do not want a complete neck rug, we have introduced the Typhoon rug with a high neck, giving extra protection whilst maintaining superb ease of  movement. The cut of the high neck on this rug will help to keep your horse or pony warmer than a normal neck style of rug, but allows greater freedom of movement than a full neck cover or full combo. The design which incorporates a breathable lining, leg straps, cross surcingles and reinforced slots, plus freedom gussets will prevent the rug slipping, rubbing or your horse getting too hoot and sticky however much they play in the field. Light and flexible, the Winter Typhoon is built with your horse or pony's comfort in mind.  This rug is available in a full range of sizes but the colour is as supplied(if colour is an issue, please contact us prior to purchase).
